Screenwriting

In everything I write, I try to make the emotional funny and the funny emotional. Same thing? Not exactly.
EL CAMINO ROYALE - Hour Long Drama Pilot
Cracks in the foundation of a  small midwest town in the 1970s start to surface as a result of the completion of Interstate 80 and the exposure of connecting the two coasts. To adapt, a struggling family farm opens a honky tonk in their 100 year old barn. Together these two forces will hit the town harder than a trailer park twister. Ripping a path of devastation through main street that will change the town and it's people forever. â€‹
LOUIE - Writing Sample
After a friend backs out of  a business deal, Louie leaves a brutal voicemail on his cellphone. When he learns that his friend died the morning of the message, he struggles with the idea that his tirade are the last words he heard from Louie. It isn't until the funeral that Louie finally confesses his guilt and gets some good news about how his friend died (spoiler alert - he was on the toilet).

BISHOP FD - Sitcom Pilot

Shining at the tryouts for the "prestigious job" are a retired investment banker going through a mid-life crisis and a naive perpetual assistant coach at the local high school. The two are quickly joined by the banker's 20-year-old son fresh from being kicked out of college. Even though they never have any fires to fight, there's plenty of heat as the banker and his son are soon battling for the same waitress at the local diner.
